1998rich was built with one clear goal – to deliver a safe, fair, and enjoyable casino and sports betting experience for Malaysian players. From Live Baccarat and Blackjack to e-sports and badminton betting, everything is available on a single platform built specifically for local users.
Who We Are
1998rich started from a simple observation – Malaysian players at the time had no online casino platform that truly prioritised the local user experience. Most platforms available back then were generic versions that gave no thought to language, currency, or the payment methods commonly used in Malaysia.
We built 1998rich with that in mind. Since launch, we've established a reputation as a platform that truly understands Malaysian players. The entire interface is in Bahasa Melayu, all transactions are in MYR, and every deposit method is one you already use in your daily life — Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, DuitNow, Boost, ShopeePay, and FPX via Maybank2u or CIMB Clicks.
Over the years, 1998rich has grown from a small platform into one of Malaysia's most trusted online casino and Sports Betting destinations. Our game library has expanded to include Live Casino with real dealers, table games such as Baccarat, Blackjack, Roulette, and Sic Bo, Sports Betting covering the Malaysia Super League through to the EPL, badminton, e-sports, and much more.
What has never changed since day one is our commitment to fairness, security, and member satisfaction. Every decision we make — from choosing game providers to designing the interface — is made with the Malaysian player experience in mind first.
Our Advantages
From data security to withdrawal speed — these are the things we prioritise for every 1998rich member.
Our Journey
The journey of 1998rich has never been an easy one. It's the story of a team that genuinely understands what Malaysian players need and is determined to make their experience better.
Our Core Values
These values aren't just words on paper – they're what we put into practice every day across every aspect of 1998rich's operations.
Our Commitment
At 1998rich, we believe casino games and Sports Betting are a form of entertainment — not a source of income or a way to solve financial problems. That's why we take an active approach to promoting healthy play habits among all our members.
Every 1998rich member who registers is given information on how to set personal deposit limits, how to request a temporary break from play, and how to reach gambling support organisations if needed. All of these options are accessible directly from your account settings.
All games on 1998rich are for members aged 21 and above only. Age verification is carried out during registration, and we take our responsibility seriously to ensure the platform remains inaccessible to underage users.
If you or someone you know needs help with a gambling-related problem, please contact the national helpline: 1800-88-1992 (free, 24 hours). 1998rich also supports and encourages the use of these services.
What We Offer
From thrilling Live Casino games to the excitement of e-sports betting – 1998rich is the complete online entertainment destination for Malaysian players.
Our Team
Every member of the 1998rich team is dedicated to making sure your gaming experience is the best it can be.
More About 1998rich
Something we often hear from long-time 1998rich members is that they never expected online casino gaming to feel this straightforward. That's honestly the best compliment we could receive — it means all the work our team has put into refining the experience for Malaysian players has paid off.
Why did we name this platform "1998rich"? The number 1998 carries special meaning in Asian culture and tradition — it is widely associated with prosperity, wealth, and good fortune. The name reflects our hope that every member will experience luck and joy each time they play with us. While we cannot guarantee wins — no honest platform can make that claim — we can guarantee a fair, safe, and enjoyable experience every time.
On the technical side, 1998rich runs on cloud infrastructure capable of handling thousands of concurrent users without interruption. This means even on peak weekend nights – say, when a Champions League final is on and thousands of Malaysian players are logging in at the same time – your gaming experience stays smooth with no noticeable lag or disruption.
We also understand that trust must be demonstrated through action, not just words. That's why whenever a technical issue or service disruption affects an active bet, 1998rich automatically refunds the wager — no claim or complaint needed from the member. This is our standing policy, and it reflects the level of accountability we hold ourselves to.
Going forward, 1998rich will continue investing in technology, game selection, and service quality. We plan to add more local Sports Betting options relevant to Malaysian players, expand our Live Casino collection, and keep improving the speed and ease of deposits and withdrawals. Our goal remains the same — to be the number one online casino platform of choice for Malaysian players, and to earn that trust every single day.
1998rich takes the security of your personal information seriously. All data you provide during registration, your payment method details, and your transaction history are protected with 256-bit SSL encryption. We never sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
1998rich operates in full compliance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). To read our full privacy policy, please visit the Privacy Policy. For other privacy-related enquiries, email us at support@1998rich.click.
